What we collect
Aayojana collects the following from registered tenants and their members:
- Tenant administrators: name, email, hashed password, role.
- Members entered by the tenant: name, contact details, gotram, nakshatram, address, donation history.
- Operational data: sevas booked, transactions, statutory documents, staff records.
- Technical data: IP address (for rate-limiting), browser user agent.
How we use it
- Provide the SaaS service (member management, donation receipts, compliance reminders).
- Send transactional email (seva reminders, donor receipts, billing).
- Generate statutory reports (80G, FCRA, Form 990 etc.) at the tenant's request.
What we don't do
- We do not sell tenant or member data to third parties.
- We do not use member data for training AI models.
- We do not run ad networks on Aayojana surfaces.
Data retention
- Audit Trail: append-only, retained as long as the tenant is active.
- Backups: 30 days rolling (in
gs://aayojana-backups). - After tenant cancellation: data retained for 90 days then permanently deleted on request.
Your rights
Tenants and their members can: - Request a copy of all data held about them (export to CSV/Excel). - Request correction or deletion of their data. - Withdraw consent for marketing email at any time.
